Arise

When someone near you suddenly dies,
you feel the darkness fill your skies.
Then slowly you will realize,
that you have said your last goodbye.
The last time you looked in their eyes.
You hit your knees and start your cries,
perhaps you even verbalize,
the way it feels so deep inside.
Your mind confuses and denies,
it brings resentment and despise.
Your time will slowly harmonize,
the strength returns and you will rise.
So just be patient while you try,
you won't understand so don't wonder why.
